This is a presentation about my Te Whare Tapa Wha(four walls of self.) We chose a symbol that will represent our four walls of self. My symbol was the river. I chose the river because it made my four walls of self and I stand out more. I hope you enjoy my presentation and please leave a comment.
I am a Year 7 student at Tamaki Primary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 7 and my teacher is Ms Ah Kui.

My Individual Description Writing
S is for super U is for united S is for sporty A is for amazing N is for neat and A is for athletic. Talofa Lava and Malo lelei my name is Susana and I am part Samoan, part Tongan and quarter Tokelau . I am a dreamer, a believer and a supporter I am all these because I know that I have a family to catch me if I fall, friends to guide me through the tunnel and a teacher to help me discover my future.A priceless smile decorates my face, my deep brown eyes are framed by my black, white and brown coloured glasses. I am a lover of sports which are my aspirations followed by being a flight attendant. My dislikes are being afraid of hornets and the world being a 2013 war zone.
My Family is a bunch of security guards protecting one another, making sure that everything is okay and everyone is happy .My mother Josie is Samoan she is from the village of Apia. I am also from Fakaofo in Tokelau. From Tonga is my father David who is from Nukualofa and Hofoa in Tongan. I have 3 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. I’m the eldest child of all. I love my family because they are themselves .My brother Gordon is an annoying barking dog always wanting to play with me, when I don't want to play. My baby sister Tiana Rose who is the youngest child of all is a little kitten laying on the couch, falling into her beauty sleep. My two other younger sisters Sheryline and Esther are little black flies, they make me feel like whacking them with a fly swat. Both my parents are love birds in a nest being what they are as always caring, loving, kind and encouraging.
I moved to a community called Tamaki at the age of 9. This community is really supportive because they help do fundraising and creates funky parades. Panmure and Glen Innes are the Tamaki Community put together as you know. My community is the best because they bring happiness and a lot of love. Our community is a war free zone because everyone brings peace together.
Hobbies are everyday lessons to me. I laugh, play and hang out with my friends. But most of all spending time with my family because they are what I call my life. Sports that I love to play are mainly everything because sports were my aspiration when I was 8 or 9 years of age. My culture is really fascinating because we have different ways of doing chores, how we cook/eat and the way our houses are set. The most thing that is interesting to me are we have great ways of presenting things.
What I fear in school is getting bad reports like going down my levels and I’m also afraid of losing my dreams. My hope is to achieve all my subjects and to be an inspiration to others.

Net book Reflection 2012
I have just completed me first year with my net book. This is my 2012 net book reflection.
I am are year 6 student who has enjoyed this journey having a net book for the first time.
The thing I most enjoyed about net books was? Having to learn new things like short cuts, ctrl c is to copy and Learning to be cyber smart by checking more than one site when looking for information because some of the internet sites are lies meaning not real or true.
What was the most interesting thing about having a net book? The most thing that was interesting about having net book was that you could have different ways to help are friend with their work. For EG: You could post a comment on their blog or send them and email. Another way to help them is to ask them to share their work with you and they would, which means you could also post comments or help them out by editing their work for them.
How did you feel getting a net book? At first sight I was so amazed and excited that goose bumps appeared and second of all I wondered what kind of learning we would do until 'WOW' it was cool, We got to be creative in our way and we never had to wait for a very long time to go on the computer just to find a single information.

WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE?
R-Rhetorical Question

R-Rhetorical Question
Why this? Why climate change? Are we doing the damage?
Everyday is a normal day until you get an unexpected surprise when the power bill arrives.I find it irritating that everyday we try and make a difference in OUR world by telling people. ‘To be warm this winter buy this heater for only two ninety nine.’ What about them? What about their world? If you don’t know who ‘them’ is look in Antarctica.Polar bears will soon have no ice!To walk on or to even hunt on.If the ice melts sea water will rise which cause floods and tsunamis.
Everybody has to point a finger at someone or something. They live. They walk. They breathe. They are part of this world. If water level rises pacific islands could be gone and washed away. For Eg: Tokalau is are small island and those people might lose their homes. Water will rise, drowning islands.
Do you know why hot days get really hot ? That is because there are many cars driving, planes flying and factories adding more co2 constantly puffing out smoke(Carbon Dioxide). This Co2 covers us all like a blanket which can cause droughts or even storms such as a cyclone which affect the bottom of the sea, coral reefs destroying homes for these sea creature. If we rewind this whole part of Co2 we can produce a better planet for us humans.
These power bills can be lowered. Complaints are always pouring in about ‘my power bill is rising and we haven’t done a single thing!’ Well you are leaving taps leaking, letting the lights light up room that’s already lit by the sun! This one day, I was helping my mum make a salad.Drip.Drop.Drip.Drop.Then...WHOOSH.I look at the tap.It was crying water. The drips and streams of water cascading down onto the bare sink.I looked at my mum calmly chopping cucumber into four quarters.I sighed ‘Turn off the tap....it’s wasting energy.’
Half the pie is bitter. That bitter half is us wasting energy twenty four seven. However on the other slice of the pie.Is a world a world where they use reusable light bulbs.More solar panels. They’ve expanded the use of wind mills. All these things generate power to our homes and to the world. Therefore we must save energy which can save the world.
We look at the stars wishing that the world could be a better place. We can make it a better place if we use renewable energy.
Where is this difference? But really...Who’s the difference?

My Rainbow's End Trip.
As I heard my my nana’s car parking up the driveway and her footsteps slithering closer and closer to the door. I was afraid because it was my very first time going to Rainbow’s End and my heart felt like it was beating a million miles an hour. When I hopped into the car I saw my uncle Josh and his sister Katalina. I was happy to see them but was scared at the same time.
The 15 minute ride felt like 5 seconds. As we drove past the entry sign my brain was absolutely empty and the only thing I could think of was; what if something bad happened to me? What if all the rides were high? I was scared of heights. What if people mock me because I’m a scaredy cat? What if I just wasted my nana’s money when she could be buying better things than spending it on this expensive place when I didn’t like it? Well that is what I was thinking of. While the car parked up my heart was still beating as fast as a cheetah and my cheeks started to burn like fire at my mid summer camp. When we entered Rainbow’s End I looked at all the rides and “WOW” was the only word I could use to describe the place, I was absolutely speechless. After we paid our tickets we had to wrap them around our hands like wrist bands and off we went.
When we walked around Rainbow’s End wondering what we should go on first I was thinking please don’t go on something too high or something that goes in circles so I don’t spew up on people. Then we walked past a ride called the Bumper Boats, and I definitely wanted to go on it because it wasn’t to high or to spinny, so it was perfect. When we went to go in line It was cool because no one wanted to go to it and we were the only one in line. After showing our tickets to the man we had got to have a turn on the bumper boats.
Later on we had finished our rides and it was so awesome and cool. I had never forgotten my first day at Rainbow’s End. When we finished we hopped in the car and I felt so sad and miserable because I was as tired as a baby ready for nap time. When we had arrived home I slowly made my way to my bedroom, onto the bed and ‘BOOM’ my eyes were shut closed and that was the end of my journey to Rainbow’s End.
