Movie Magic Evaluation
I think that a tripod is the most important element to Movie making because...If we had no tripods our movies would be shaky, wobbly and really annoying because you have to stay still for a very long time till it is over or you would have to be always trying to fix it every one minute to fix it up.
I put a flash camera and are range of camera shots and angles second because...
We could use the flash camera to put on the tripod and how would we make our movies if we didn't have the flash camera at all. I also chose different kinds of angles because if we just chose to do only one thing(eg:Long Shots only) our movie wouldn't be interesting at all.
I think the least important element is Fancy costumes because...
I choose that because you could just wear anything not just fancy things then you could wear what ever the movie is about.
Other important elements that aren’t included here are...
- Feelings
- Different scenes
- Props
- Practising and more Practising.
- Being confident
My biggest lightbulb moment while learning about movie magic was...
I didn't know that it was a lot of work and I learnt a lot from it. I even started to be more confident in front of the camera and not afraid to speak in front of the audience.

Room 8 Speeches
Room 8 have been studying Movie Magic. Part of making movies, is speaking clearly. We put this into practice by planning, crafting, practicing and presenting speeches. The topics we chose, were topics that would influence the thinking of others. We hope you enjoy!
My Speech Reflection
How did you feel about presenting your speech to the class?
I felt a bit nervous at the start and while I was going through I started to feel confident because my classroom wasn't laughing at my mistakes and they made me feel like I'm not shy and not afraid to speak..
What was the hardest part about preparing a speech?

How could you improve your speech making next time?
How could you improve your speech making next time?
I could add more information and add a story behind it like a narrative story.
